How does the weight loss program work?

After your initial consultation with labs reviewed, the compounded weight loss medication will be sent to your home. The supplies for injection will be in the package along with dosing instructions on the medication. Each month a new supply of medication will be sent to your home. 

I had lab work done last month with my PCP. Do I have to get my blood drawn again?

No. You can upload your lab results through the patient portal. 

I haven't had lab work done in a long time. Will I have to get my blood drawn?

Yes. For patient safety and standard of care, lab work needs to be done within two months prior to starting compounded weight loss medication. You will come into the clinic for a lab draw.  

How do I know if I am a candidate for compounded weight loss medication?

Your health history and labs will be reviewed. Your goals of care will be discussed and you and your provider will decide if compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide is right for you. 

I am pregnant/breastfeeding, can I use compounded weight loss medication?

No, it is not safe for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers to use compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. 

Can I take semaglutide/tirzepatide if me or someone in my family had medullary thyroid cancer?

No, it is not safe to take semaglutide or tirzepatide if you or someone in your family had medullary thyroid cancer.
